Challenge
Large Canadian municipality was looking for a partner to deliver a turnkey AMI deployment that would provide them with superior AMI coverage, lower overall life cycle and installation partner that would help them meet their project budget.
Approach
KTI Utility Services (KUS) implemented a comprehensive solution that included efficient project management, public outreach to inform the community, and water meter replacements for improved accuracy. We installed SmartPoint technology for better data collection, established a dedicated call center for customer support, streamlined work order management, and ensured accurate meter data for seamless billing integration. Industry was Water and products used were FlexNet Network and SRII Water Meters.
Results
KTI Utility Services was able to provide a robust network with superior coverage, resulting in 99% Read Success Rate and completed the installations with a 99% installation success rate.
